Three People Arrested in Maine after Man Assaulted & Robbed
Two men and one woman were arrested after a man was assaulted and robbed in Hermon, and drugs were later seized at a hotel in Bangor.
Man had Extensive Injuries after Assault
The Penobscot County Sheriff’s Office said an injured man was found on Union Street on June 23 with “extensive injuries” after an assault.
Victim was “Viciously Attacked and Robbed”
Deputies “learned the victim had been viciously attacked and robbed by known associates.” The injured man was transported to the hospital.
Suspect's Vehicle Located at Holiday Inn
Deputies located a vehicle belonging to one of the suspects at the Holiday Inn on Odlin Road in Bangor. Three out of five suspects identified with the attack were detained.
Search Warrants Executed and Drugs Seized
Detectives from the Penobscot County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division then executed search warrants in two hotel rooms. Multiple bags of crack and other items of evidence were seized.
Three People Charged
Three people were taken into custody including 45-year-old Tory Kindred from Old Town was charged with Robbery, 47-year-old Thomas Pope from New Jersey was charged with Robbery and 35-year-old Amanda Allard from Bangor was charged with Robbery.
Additional Charges Pending
They were transported to the Penobscot County Jail. More charges are expected, said police.
More Suspects Facing Arrest
Additional suspects who were identified in the attack and will be arrested later, said the Sheriff’s Office.
