You'll see people wearing pretzel necklaces at Taste the North: Craft Beer & Food Festival, April 21st at the Presque Isle Forum.

Do you know what it's all about and why people wear them?

Beer lovers make their necklaces by putting pretzels on a string and tying it around their neck. How you design and wear it is up to you. It's main purpose is to cleanse the palate, but it's great for munchies and a fun conversation piece too (see below):

Cleanse the Palate:

You want to sample different beers and this is where the pretzel plays a crucial role. Cleanse the palate so you can savor each flavor.

Looks Cool:

Pretzel necklaces are made for special occasions. It's not everyday you see people walking down the street wearing one. It’s only at a beer fest that you see it in all its glory. Pair it up with VIP tickets and you are looking cool.

Different Shapes & Sizes:

A variety of pretzels is not only a good look, but you can share with your friends. Chose what size pretzel you want for the beer you're drinking.

Cleansing the palate is the essential role, but let’s face it, pretzels are great munchies when you’re having a cold one.

When you wear a pretzel necklace like a boss, you let everyone know this isn’t your first beer & food festival.
