The RCMP say they have found the body of a missing Wakefield woman who was reported missing last week.

The body of twenty-one-year-old Kristen Polchies was found in a wooded area in Wakefield on Friday evening. In the initial search, police described Polchies as 5'10" and around 130 pounds with shoulder length hair and blue eyes, with a tattoo on the inside of her left wrist.

Mounties say foul play is not suspected in her death at this time and they are working to determine the exact cause of death.

When the family reported her missing to police, they stated that she could have been in a wooded area off of Highway 103 in Wakefield.
