Saint-Léonard RCMP are seeking the public's help to identify the driver of a speed boat involved in a hit-and-run on Lac-Baker that occurred in the early morning hours Sunday, according to a press release from the RCMP.

Sometime between 3:30 a.m. and 4:00 a.m. a speed boat crashed into the back of a pontoon boat and left the scene. There were four people on the pontoon boat at the time. No one was injured but the pontoon boat sustained extensive damage. The investigation is continuing.

Police are asking anyone with information about the speed boat or the driver to contact the Saint-Léonard RCMP at 1-888-506-7267.
