West District RCMP are seeking the public's assistance to identify and locate the driver of a vehicle that left the scene of a collision on the Trans-Canada Highway near Meductic.

On February 4, at approximately 4:20 p.m., the Woodstock RCMP received a report of a collision that occurred on the Trans-Canada Highway. A dark blue, extended cab, pickup truck entered the eastbound lane of the highway via the on-ramp and struck a transport truck that was travelling in the same direction, resulting in significant damage to both vehicles.

The driver of the pickup truck did not stop and continued travelling eastward on the highway. The pickup truck is believed to have had a Saskatchewan licence plate and likely sustained significant front end damage around the bumper on the driver's side of the vehicle.

Anyone who may have witnessed this collision or who may be able to identify the pickup truck or its driver is asked to contact the Woodstock RCMP at 506-325-3000.
