The RCMP is asking for the public's help in identifying a man and woman who may be connected to an ongoing assault investigation in the Moncton area.

Police say on January 31, shortly before 9 p.m., the man and woman were observed at the Dairy Queen on Coverdale Road in Riverview. A short time later, they were also observed outside the Irving gas station on the same road.

Police are releasing surveillance photos from the businesses in an attempt to identify and locate the pair.

Anyone with information about the identities of these individuals is asked to contact Codiac Regional RCMP at 506-857-2400.
