Police Looking for Multiple Suspects after Man Shot in Maine
Police are looking for suspects after a 19-year-old man was seriously injured Friday night following a shooting outside a mosque in Lewiston.
Shooting Outside Mosque
The shooting happened around 9:45 pm in the parking lot of Masjidu Salaam Mosque on Bartlett Street, said WGME News.
Seriously Injured
The victim took himself to the hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
People Left the Mosque after Shooting
Officers said people inside the mosque left before police arrived on the scene.
Multiple Shooters
The Lewiston Police Department said there were multiple shooters. No arrests or charges have been made.
