One person was seriously injured after a bicycle and pickup truck collided in Mechanic Falls.

Crash Involving Bike and Pickup Truck with One Person Injured

The crash happened around 7 pm Friday on North Street.

Bike and Truck Heading Opposite Directions Collided with Injuries

Police said the bike was going southbound and the truck was heading north when they collided.

The person on the bike was transported to Maine Medical Center with serious injuries. No injuries were reported from the pickup truck.

Road Closed as Scene was Processed and Reopened to Traffic

The road was closed as police processed the scene and the area was cleared for traffic.
