Public Safety Minister Bruce Northrup says the deadline has been extended by two weeks. He says so far, more than 715 property owners have already reported flood damage over the past month and they continue to get additional reports on almost a daily basis. Last month's flooding caused an estimated $14 Million in damage.

Reporting the damage is the first step in applying for Disaster Financial Assistance recently announced by the provincial government.

Anyone whose home or business has flood damage should report it by calling Service New Brunswick at 1-888-298-8555 or by visiting their website.
