Meth Lab Found in Car After Traffic Stop in Lincoln, Maine
A couple from Lincoln, Maine were charged Tuesday with operating a meth lab, said the MDEA.
After a traffic stop on High Street, Lincoln Police found the couple was making meth in their vehicle, said Stephen McCausland, Public Safety Spokesman. 30-year-old, Christopher McGinn and 26-year-old, Tiffany Lord, were taken to the Penobscot County Jail. They are charged with unlawful operation of a methamphetamine lab.
The Maine Drug Enforcement Agency secured evidence and processed the crime scene in the car. Contraband was removed. Agents then found more meth making evidence at their home on 6 Cemetery Road after a search, said McCausland.
The MDEA, Lincoln Police and Fire Department, the Penobscot Sheriff’s Office and the Department of Environmental Protection assisted.
This is the 16th meth related response by MDEA this year.
