Man Died after Medical Event and Crashing into Tree in Maine
A 64-year-old man died Wednesday morning around 6:41 am after a medical event and crash on Route 2 in Wilton.
Driver Died after Leaving the Road and Crashing
The Wilton Police Department said Ernest Dunham from Farmington was driving a Jeep Liberty when he lost control, went off the roadway and ended up on the lawn of the New Life Pentecostal Church.
Man Died at the Scene
The Jeep then went into the woods and struck a tree. Dunham was pronounced dead at the scene.
Driver Suffered Medical Event
Police said Dunham likely had a medical event before the crash.
Ongoing Crash Investigation
The single-vehicle crash is under investigation.
