Man Arrested for Attempted Murder after Shooting Gun in Maine
A 53-year-old man has been arrested for attempted murder after firing a gun at his father-in-law on Pleasant River Road in Milo.
Man Arrested after Shooting at Father-in-Law
The Milo Police Department said David Barry was taken into custody Thursday and charged with Attempted Murder, Attempted Aggravated Assault, Domestic Violence Reckless Conduct with a Firearm, and Domestic Violence Criminal Threatening with a Firearm.
Suspect “Emptied the Magazine” and Reloaded
The father-in-law called 911 around 6:35 pm and said Barry “had emptied the magazine shooting at him and had reloaded,” according to the Milo PD.
Man was Intoxicated
“Barry was found to be intoxicated during the altercation and several firearms were removed from the residence,” said police.
Victim Not Shot
The father-in-law was not hit by the bullets. His name and age was not released.
