Man and Woman Arrested for Aggravated Drug Trafficking in Maine
A 41-year-old woman and a 24-year-old man were arrested in Waterville after a months-long drug trafficking investigation in Maine.
Two People Facing Drug Trafficking and Additional Charges
Kelly Goards from Waterville and Anthony Carey from New York were both taken into custody and charged with Aggravated Drug Trafficking, Illegal Possession of a firearm, and Criminal Conspiracy.
Police Seized Crack, Fentanyl and Handgun
Officers seized close to 900 grams of crack cocaine, more than 150 grams of fentanyl, and a handgun during a search at a residence on Silver Street, said WGME News.
Taken to County Jail
Gourds and Carey were transported to the Kennebec County Jail in Augusta.
