Maine School Bus Driver Arrested for OUI
Maine State Police say a school bus driver transporting the Biddeford High School field hockey team home from a state championship game was arrested for operating under the influence of drugs.
Troopers pulled the school bus over on the Maine Turnpike Saturday night after it was reportedly speeding in a construction zone, made a lane change without a turn signal and failed to maintain a lane.
Sixty-eight-year-old Richard Tanguay of Biddeford was charged with OUI and driving to endanger.
Tanguay has been placed on administrative leave while the Biddeford School District investigates. He has a court date in January.
