A 30-year-old woman is charged with aiding and abetting bank robbery and Hobbs Act robbery after TD Bank and Dollar Tree store robberies in Bangor in May. She pleaded guilty Tuesday.

Court records show that Cara M. Blewitt from Oakville, Connecticut was the getaway driver for the two robberies. TD Bank in Bangor was robbed of cash on May 28th, and the Dollar Store was robbed of cash at gunpoint the next day. The Bangor Police Department arrested her and the robber minutes after the Dollar Store theft.

Blewitt faces a 20 year prison term and a $250,000 fine and full restitution. She will be sentenced after the completion of a presentence investigation report by the U.S.  Probation Office.

The investigation was conducted by the Bangor Police Department; the Federal Bureau of Investigation; and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
