
41-Year-Old Man Pleads Guilty to Bank Robbery in Maine
A 41-year-old convicted man pleaded guilty to bank robbery and brandishing a firearm during a crime of violence in Maine.

Timothy Riley from Gorham faces up to 20 years in prison and a $250,000 fine for the bank robbery charge.
Brandished Gun
Riley brandished a Glock handgun and demanded money from a teller at a Westbrook bank in June 2024, according to court records.
Fled on Dirt Bike
He left the bank with the money and fled the scene on a dirt bike. Riley led police on a chase before going off-road where officers could not pursue him.
K9 Located Gun
A K9 tracked him and located a handgun and baseball hat that fit the description of the suspect.
Admitted to Bank Robbery
He was later taken into custody at his residence. He admitted to the robbery, said police.
Prior Convictions
Riley has prior convictions for robbery and burglary. He is precluded from having a firearm.
Multiple Charges
The U.S. Attorney’s Office said Riley faces multiple charges related to the bank robbery.
