Maine Man Died and Woman Injured in Single-Vehicle Crash

A 65-year-old man died in a crash early Thursday morning and a 42-year-old female passenger was injured on Mud Mill Road in Windsor.

The Kennebec County Sheriff’s Office said Shawn Donovan of China, Maine died at the scene.

Woman Taken to the Hospital with Injuries

A female passenger from Augusta was transported to Maine General Medical Center in Augusta. Her name was not released.

Vehicle Left the Road and Crashed into Trees

Donovan’s vehicle went off the roadway and hit trees around 3:10 am, according to WGME News.

Sheriff’s Office: Driver Appeared to Have Medical Event Before Crash

The Kennebec County Sheriff’s Office said it appeared Donovan suffered a medical event before the crash.
