Juvenile Died after Being Hit by Pickup Truck in Maine
A juvenile on a bicycle died Thursday after being hit by a pickup truck in Sabattus.

The crash happened around 2:22 pm at the intersection of Litchfield Road and Hillside Drive.
Pronounced Dead at the Hospital
The juvenile was transported to Central Maine Medical Center and pronounced dead at the hospital. The juvenile’s name was not released pending notification to the family.
Police said Alcohol was not a Factor
The 35-year-old driver, Seth Ringler from Portland, was cooperating. The Sabattus Police Department said “there is no indication that alcohol was a contributing factor in the crash.”
Ongoing Crash Investigation
The investigation is ongoing. The Sabattus Fire Department and the Androscoggin County Sheriff’s Office assisted at the scene.
