A man wanted for attempted murder was apprehended Monday in Franklin County.
Fugitive from Justice Arrested in Maine after Stabbing
Larry Wayne Cole III was a fugitive from justice in Tennessee after he got into a fight with his husband, Daniel Cole, and stabbed him at a Walmart on Nashville Pike on July 30, said WSMV News.
Man Fled the State after Knife Attack
Police were actively looking for Cole III after he fled the state in a Volkswagen Jetta with a license plate “LARRY.”
Border Patrol Apprehended Man at Canadian Border
He was taken into custody near the Canadian Border in Franklin County, Maine by Border Patrol Agents.
Suspect Extradition
Cole III was being held in Maine until his extradition back to Tennessee.
Victim in Stable Condition
Daniel Cole was in stable condition following the stabbing.
