Human Remains Found Off Stillwater Avenue, Bangor, Maine

The Bangor Police Department is investigating human remains that were found off Stillwater Avenue in Bangor.

Wardens said they found human remains in a wooded area behind 900 Stillwater Avenue on Sunday. The business at that address is the Walmart Supercenter.

Sunday's coordinated search was an effort to locate Thomas Lynch who’d been missing since September of 2018, according to police.

The State Medical Examiner's Office will conduct an autopsy to positively identify the body.
