RCMP in New Brunswick are asking for the public’s help in identifying the person or persons responsible for a hit and run that happened in Sainte-Anne-de-Madawaska earlier this week.

Police say two vehicles struck each other on Principale Street at around 8:30 p.m. Monday. One of the vehicles did not stop and fled the scene. The vehicle that remained, a blue 2010 Mazda M3 sustained significant damage.

The vehicle that fled the scene is believed to be a Hyundai, and likely has significant damage on the driver’s side of the vehicle.
