Four People Injured in Four-Vehicle Crash in Maine
Four people were injured Wednesday afternoon in a four-vehicle crash on Walker's Mill's Road in Bethel.
Four-Vehicle Crash caused by Chain Reaction
The Oxford County Sheriff's Office said it was a chain reaction near the intersection of Walker's Mill's Road and Chandler Hill Road around 12:40 pm.
Crash Near Maine DOT Work Site
The crash happened in the area of a Maine Department of Transportation work site, said WGME News.
Pickup Truck Collided with Stopped Vehicle
Officials said three vehicles were stopped as a flagger was holding traffic for the construction. A 35-year-old woman in a 1500 GMC pickup truck collided with one of the stopped vehicles, causing the chain reaction.
Four People Injured during Crash
Four people had non-life threatening injuries. Names and ages were not released.
Charges Possible as Investigation is Ongoing
Charges are possible, said the Oxford County Sheriff’s Office. The investigation remains open.
