Colonel Williams Retires as Maine State Police Chief
After six years as Chief of the Maine State Police, and 33 years in uniform, Colonel Robert Williams retired Tuesday.
His commanding officers and personnel from the Department of Public Safety gathered to salute Colonel Williams as he signed off at Public Safety. Troopers also paid tribute to Williams as he approached his home (see pictures above).
