A 45-year-old man was arrested and charged with drug trafficking and illegal firearms possession in Topsham.

Man Charged with Aggravated Drug Trafficking and Firearms

The Topsham Police Department was called to investigate suspected drug trafficking at West School House Crossing Road on March 1.

MDEA was Called to the Scene to Investigate

The Maine Drug Enforcement Agency responded to assist with the case.

Drugs, Firearms, Drug Proceeds Seized by MDEA Agents

Agents executed a search warrant and seized close to 57 grams of cocaine base, 7 grams of cocaine, 14 firearms and $1,500 in suspected drug proceeds.

Suspect Apprehended and Taken into Custody

Peter Jellison-Bozeman from Topsham was apprehended later and arrested on March 24.

Drugs and Firearms Charges after Arrest

He was charged with Aggravated Drug Trafficking, Possession of Firearms by a Prohibited Person and Criminal Simulation.

Taken to County Jail and Booked on Charges

Jellison-Bozeman was transported to the Sagadahoc County Jail and booked. His bail was set at $1,000.
