The Infinity Federal Credit Union on Rt. 111 in Arundel was robbed Thursday afternoon by a man who made off with money and fled in a vehicle, later found abandoned in Biddeford.

Two State Police dogs and the State Police plane were involved in tracking the suspect along railroad tracks and woods, leading Troopers to a wooded area off Lincoln Street in Saco. Trooper Adam Schmidt deployed K9 Ibo for a track from the last sighting and located the suspect in the thick wooded area where he was taken into custody.

Cash stolen from the bank was found hidden under a log, near where Brackett was captured. Troops A, B, G, MSP AIR Wing, U.S. Marshal Service, York County Sheriff’s Office and Biddeford Police all assisted with the search, along with the police dispatch centers in Gray, Sanford and Biddeford.
