A 48-year-old man was arrested and charged with drug trafficking after 3.3 pounds of fentanyl was seized from a Scarborough hotel room.

Undercover agents with the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency bought drugs from him as part of the weeks-long investigation.
3.3 Pounds of Fentanyl Seized and an Ounce of Crack
A search warrant was executed at the hotel and agents seized 3.3 pounds of fentanyl, one ounce of crack and $2,700 in suspected drug proceeds. Additional evidence of illegal drug trafficking was also taken.

Street Value of Drugs was $60,000
The MDEA said the estimated street value of the narcotics was $60,000.

White faces multiple charges including Aggravated Drug Trafficking and Unlawful Drug Trafficking.

Taken to County Jail with Cash Bail Set at $75,000
He was transported to the Cumberland County Jail with cash bail set at $75,000.

On Probation at the Time of Arrest
White was on probation at the time of his arrest, and a probation hold was placed on him, said the MDEA.
