Man Arrested & Charged with 3 Counts of Drug Trafficking in Maine

A 44-year-old man was arrested and charged with Aggravated Drug Trafficking and a 28-year woman was arrested on warrants in Searsport.

Two Arrested after Months-Long Drug Trafficking Investigation

Joshua Johnson and Samantha Quimby, both from Pittsfield, were taken into custody Wednesday following a months-long drug trafficking investigation in the Pittsfield, Canaan area.

Undercover Purchases of Fentanyl

Law enforcement did several undercover purchases of Fentanyl from Johnson.

Warrants Executed and Arrests Made at Local Residence

The State Police Tactical Team executed warrants around 8:30 pm at Johnson’s residence on Canaan Road.

Two Taken into Custody Without Incident

Both Johnson and Quimby were arrested and charged.

Man Charged with Three Counts of Drug Trafficking and Criminal Trespass

Johnson was charged with three counts of Aggravated Drug Trafficking and also had warrants for Criminal Trespass and Violation of Bail.

Woman Arrested on Warrants and Violation of Bail

Quimby was arrested on warrants for Theft, Operating After Suspension and Violation of Bail.

Taken to County Jail and Booked as Investigation is Ongoing

They were transported to the Somerset County Jail and booked. The investigation remains open.
