U.S. Marshals are searching for an armed and dangerous violent criminal who fled from law enforcement on foot in Buxton.

The unnamed suspect ran from police in the area of Parker Farm Road & Webster Road.
Hours-Long Search
After searching for hours with K-9 teams, Buxton Police said there was “no further information to lead law enforcement to believe the suspect is still in the area.”
Residents Asked to Stay Inside and Lock Doors
Local residents were asked to stay inside and lock their doors and vehicles.
Wanted for Violent Crime
The fugitive is wanted for a violent crime in another jurisdiction. He has “an active warrant for his arrest and is considered to be armed and dangerous,” said police.
