Adults and Children Injured after Car Hit Parade Float in Maine
Three adults were injured, two with significant lower extremity injuries, and several children had “bumps and bruises” after an antique car hit a parade float in Kennebunk on Saturday.

Kennebunk Fire-Rescue said “an antique vehicle lurched forward unexpectedly and ended up crushing several people between the car and a trailer being used as a float with numerous children on it.”
Bystanders Assisted First Responders
Bystanders helped several of the people injured. First responders were on duty with a “quick response.” Names and ages were not released.

The parade on Water Street was being held to celebrate May Day Festivals in the downtown area.
