The third Saturday in April is coming in six days and that can only mean one thing...the Kenduskeag Stream Canoe Race.

When they yell 'THREE...TWO...ONE...GO!!!!' Saturday morning, it will mark the 51st time paddlers tackle the 16.5 mile course from Kenduskeag to downtown Bangor.

The man to beat, more than likely, is Nova Scotia kayaker Trevor MacLean. He has had the top overall time for eight year running. And, if he does it again this year, MacLean will pass New Brunswick's Robert Lang for the most wins. Each paddler is sitting with 12 Kenduskeag wins.

Check out some of the spots along the Kenduskeag Stream. These pictures were taken over this past weekend...

NOTE: Sports Radio 92.9 The Ticket and 929theticket.com bring you a live race special show Saturday morning beginning at 8am, plus live updates throughout the race.
