A 39-year-old man died and a three people were injured Saturday evening after a head-on crash in Lebanon, Maine.

Man Died and Woman Injured in Head-On Crash

Daniel Dempsey from Lebanon died at the scene. His passenger, Christina Gagnon from Berwick, was seriously injured and transported to Portsmouth Regional Hospital.

Two-Vehicle Crash

The York County Sheriff’s Office said Dempsey crossed the centerline and collided head-on with a pickup truck driven by 22-year-old William Long from South Berwick.

Two Injured in Second Vehicle

Long and a 20-year-old passenger, Jenna Dix from Berwick, were injured and taken to Wentworth Douglass Hospital.

Alcohol, Speed and Reckless Driving

The Sheriff’s Office said alcohol, speed, and reckless driving appear to be factors in the crash, according to WGME News.
