A 26-year-old man was arrested Monday in Lewiston for criminal trespassing and aggravated drug trafficking after police found a large amount of crack in his possession.

Man Arrested in Maine for Aggravated Drug Trafficking and Trespassing

The Lewiston Police Department said Kamal Mohamed Haji Ali was taken into custody at 282 Lisbon Street for trespassing in a common area of the building.

Police and MDEA Seized Crack and Drug Proceeds

Lewiston Police and the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency found him in possession of 82.8 grams of cocaine base (crack). Ali also had $547 of suspected drug money.

Multiple Charges

He is facing charges for Aggravated Drug Trafficking, Criminal Trespass, Failure to Provide Name and DOB and Criminal Forfeiture.
