A 20-year-old man was arrested for Murder, Manslaughter and Possession of a Firearm after a 22-year-old man was shot and killed in Waterville.

Murder and Manslaughter Charges

Tyler Quirion of Waterville was indicted and charged on Thursday for the February 19, 2024 fatal shooting of Justin Iraola on Grove Street.

Murder Investigation

The Waterville Police Department and the Maine State Police Major Crimes took him into custody after an extensive investigation.

Death Ruled Homicide

Iraola died from multiple gunshot wounds. The Chief Medical Examiner ruled his death a homicide after an autopsy.

Transported to Jail and No Bail

 Quirion was taken to the Kennebec County Jail and was held without bail.
