20-Year-Old College Student Found Dead in Maine
A 20-year-old college student in Maine was found dead in Topsham early Sunday morning in a parking lot at 2 Main Street.
Bowdoin College Student Found Dead in Maine
The Topsham Police Department said the woman was from California and a student at Bowdoin College in Brunswick. The woman’s name was not released as the family is notified.
Body Found in Construction Parking Lot
The area where her body was found is a parking lot for construction equipment for the Frank J. Woods Bridge, said police.
Investigation Remains Open
She was taken to the Medical Examiner’s Office for an autopsy. The investigation is ongoing as officials look at the results of the examination.
Police said “No Active Threat to the Public”
The Topsham Police Department Chief of Police Marc Hagan said there “is currently no cause to believe that there is an active threat to the community.”
