
19-Year-Old Woman Died after Single-Vehicle Crash In Maine
A 19-year-old woman died Sunday morning after a crash in Brunswick.
Crossed Road and Hit Tree
The Brunswick Police Department said Kaylah Rusaw was driving on Old Bath Road when she “lost control of the vehicle, crossed the roadway and collided with a tree.
Trapped in Vehicle, Extricated and CPR
Rusaw was trapped in the vehicle and had to be extricated. First responders gave her CPR for 30 minutes. She died at the scene from her injuries.
Speed Appears to be Factor
Police said “speed appears to be a factor.” Rusaw was not wearing a seatbelt and the airbags were deployed. The crash investigation is ongoing.
