19-Year-Old Woman Charged with Drug Trafficking in Maine
A 19-year-old woman was arrested and charged with aggravated drug trafficking after a month-long narcotics investigation in Fairfield.
Drugs Seized at Motel
Adrianna Velez was taken into custody at the American Lodge motel. Police seized more than 13 grams of fentanyl and cocaine, digital scales, illicit drug related documentation and drug paraphernalia.
Aggravated Drug Trafficking
Velez was charged with Aggravated Drug Trafficking, Unlawful Furnishing of Drugs and two counts for Violation of Conditions of Release. Velez already had two sets of bail conditions for unrelated criminal matters.
More Criminal Charges Pending
More criminal charges are pending for others involved in drug trafficking, said WGME News. The investigation is ongoing.
