A 47-Year-Old Man Died after ATV Crash & Rollover in Maine
A 47-year-old man died after an ATV crash in Thorndike.
Passer-By Found Body
Maine Wardens said Trevor Mcavey was found dead at the scene Monday morning by a passer-by who called authorities.
Crashed and Rolled Over into Trees
Mcavey from Arizona crashed after losing control of his ATV on Fowler Road and rolled into trees. He was riding alone and no other injuries were reported.
Not Wearing a Helmet
Mcavey was not wearing a helmet, said officials. His body was taken to the Riposta Funeral Home in Belfast. The investigation is ongoing.
Multi-Agency Response
Responding to the scene was the Maine Warden Service, the Waldo County Sheriff’s Office, Thorndike Fire & EMS and Unity Ambulance.
