The Lewiston Police Department responded to 911 calls reporting two teens with a gun on Horton Street.

Police Seized a Stolen Gun from 15-Year-Old with Prior Charges

Officers detained the 15-year-old male and seized a stolen handgun from him.

Teen Suspect Refused to Identify and Give a Name

“The teen initially refused to provide a name but officers were able to eventually identify him,” according to Lewiston PD.

Multiple Prior Charges Including Criminal Threatening and Assault

He had multiple prior charges including Criminal Threatening with a Weapon and Aggravated Assault.

Charged with a Stolen Firearm and Illegal Gun Possession

He was taken into custody and charged with Possession of a Firearm by a Prohibited Person and Possession of a Stolen Firearm.

The teen was transported to the Long Creek Youth Development Center in South Portland and booked.
