Woman and Dog Died after 5-Car Crash on I-95 in Maine
One woman and a dog died Friday afternoon and several people were injured after a five-vehicle crash on I-95 in Augusta.
Two Dead after Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-95
The multi-vehicle crash happened around 3:09 pm after a traffic stop in a construction zone lane closure.
Truck Collided with SUV in Five-Car Crash
The Maine State Police said “A pickup truck rear-ended an SUV, which led to a 5-vehicle crash.”
Women and Dog Died
A female passenger in the SUV and a dog in the same vehicle died at the scene. Several more people were injured and taken to Maine General Hospital in Augusta.
Road Closed for Hours
Five vehicles were towed from the crash site and the road was closed until 5:50 pm.
