BBQ, Music & Mud Festival, Houlton, June 28

There’s tons of fun and activities at the BBQ, Music & Mud festival presented by The Houlton Fair Association, June 28-30. Take a look at what’s going on – Live music, mud runs, BBQ, beer tent, games and carnival rides for everyone.

Live Music:

Featuring “Framing The Red” a southern rock n roll band that’s taking the national music scene by storm + local bands Ted And The Boys, Dakota Of Maine, Octavia, French Toast And Wally And The Virginian.

Mud Run:

The Mud Run & ATV/UTV Mud Bog Challenge, Saturday, June 29^th.

There are multiple classes, mud pits, obstacle courses, motor cross division + prize money.

Registration for the Mud Run & ATV/UTV Mud Bog Challenge starts at 8 am Saturday, June 29^th. The action starts at 11 am.

Backyard BBQ Cookoff:

Contestants will compete Saturday, June 29 in several contests including best BBQ chicken, BBQ brisket, BBQ ribs + best side dish.

Prizes include 1^st Place for best Chicken $200, Brisket $300, Ribs $400 & Best side dish gets $100.

Overall Champion gets a trophy + $500. People’s Choice winner gets $200 & trophy. The Best Looking Booth gets $250.

Celebrity judges will be on hand from 1:30 – 5 PM.
