What Are Mainers Most Worried About When It Comes To Hair?
Hair: It plays a lot into the way someone looks. It can also be the source of confidence when a person likes the locks that are on their head, or lead someone to have low self-esteem if they feel like their hair is lacking.
Often, folks who feel their follicles aren't that fabulous, will consult with a barber or hair stylist for advice if they have concerns.

But others consult what we all tend to as a default, when we want to keep our concerns to ourselves, and Google it.
The haircare professionals at Ruffians dug deep into the data to analyze what people in Maine have been asking the internet about.
"Experts at barber shop Ruffians analyzed data from Google Keyword Planner to identify Maine’s highest search volumes for hair worry-related terms. These terms include "hair loss," "hair transplant" and "hair thickness". The findings reveal which hair-related searches residents of Maine are most concerned about."
Here are the top 5 "mane" issues Mainers are concerned about regarding hair.
1.) Hair Loss
Topping the list, being searched over 1,400 times a month in Maine, is hair loss. Of course, there are many different reasons someone's hair would fall out, including genetics, diet, illness, hormones, stress...it's quite a list. While the hair might not be on the top of their heads, it is on the minds of many Mainers.
#2 Hair Growth
Second on the list, coming in at just over 1,300 searches a month, is hair growth, which makes sense. If people are worried about their hair starting to thin or fall out, it's only natural that the follow-up search would involve how to solve that problem.
#3 Dandruff
It's more of a common problem than some may think, but it's something that makes people who suffer from this condition very self-conscious. With just over a thousand searches a month, it's understandable that people may want to deal with the issue of dandruff privately, rather than see the help of professionals.
#4 Hair Transplants
Over 500 people a month search out information about hair transplants. Again, with the top concern of those in our state being hair loss, it's not that big of a stretch to think some folks may explore the option of a hair transplant as a way to remedy their hair situation.
#5 Hair Thickness
On average, about 150 Mainers search for information about hair thickness. Now, this could be in pursuit of how to grow more luxurious locks. It could also be to curb an overgrowth of hair. Either way, just how thick hair should be and how to maintain it is also a follicle issue Mainers are fixated on.
While googling questions can certainly give you answers, it can also be hard to narrow down what information pertains to your specific issue, according to the website, B2bleads, there are just over 800 hair salons in Maine you could also reach out to that might better serve your immediate hair needs.
