Valentine's Day is in our sights and that means people are prepping for the day where you better have gotten that special someone something for this so-called holiday or you'll find yourself on the curb. Maybe that's just me?

What do you get them? Mental Floss is back again with one of their Google trends graphics of the United States. This time it's showing the data for the most popular heart-shaped item in each state. I'm not buying what they're selling here, especially for the New England results. Get a load of this.

Maine - Heart-Shaped Plants

A heart-shaped plant? That's a thing? It's a thing and most of Maine wants one.

Heart-shaped pasta I can be down with. Think of it like macaroni and cheese but you're eating hearts. Okay...maybe don't think of that.

Come on Vermont! Really? Who gets the heart-shaped end table if there's a divorce, hmmm?

Massachusettes - Heart-Shaped Cookie Cutter

This one isn't too far off the mark I suppose. Who can say no to cookies no matter what shape they're in?

This one isn't far off the mark either. At least it's jewelry and not a plant. This is progress.
