Two People Died after a Vehicle Crashed on I-95 in Maine
Two people died early Thursday morning after crashing on I-95 and hitting a tree in Old Town.

The Maine State Police said the driver, 26-year-old Patrick McMullin from Howland, and his passenger, 18-year-old Treasa Savage from Lincoln, were pronounced dead at the scene.
Vehicle Went Off the Road and Hit a Tree
The crash happened around 5:45 am after McMullin tried ”to pass another vehicle, went off the roadway to the right, and struck a tree.”
One Lane on I-95 for Two Hours
The crash investigation is ongoing. The Interstate southbound was down to one lane for close to two hours.

The Maine State Police was assisted by MaineDOT, Old Town Police Department, Old Town Fire Department, and Sullivan's Towing Service.
