Two Catalytic Converters Stolen in Saint-Joseph-de-Madawaska, N.B.

The Saint-Léonard RCMP is investigating the theft of two catalytic converters that were stolen in Saint-Joseph-de-Madawaska, New Brunswick. 

The RCMP is Asking for Info from the Public

Police are asking the public to provide any information about these incidents. Both thefts were on DeuxIème-Sault Road. The first one happened in the evening between March 24 and March 27, 2022. The catalytic converter was stolen from a truck parked outside a business. The second theft was early in the morning on March 25. Police said it occurred around 4 a.m. outside of a different business.

Police Advisory

"The New Brunswick RCMP is urging anyone who witnesses suspicious activity in their community to call police, regardless the time of day," says Sgt. Bouchard of the Saint-Léonard RCMP. "In general, securing your vehicle in a locked building when possible, or parking it in a well-lit area can help deter these types of thefts.”
