A tractor-trailer truck hauling 15 million bees crashed on I-95 in Clinton on Thursday night.
15 Million Bees “Mostly Contained”
The Maine State Police said “the bees were mostly contained, and the goal was to save them.”
Truck Driver Taken to the Hospital
The truck driver was taken to the hospital with “complaints of pain." Name and age were not released.
Bees Transported to Pollinate Blueberry Fields in Maine
The bees were being transported to Washington County to pollinate blueberry fields.

Assisting the Maine State Police was the Clinton Fire Department, the Burnham Fire Department, MaineDOT, Dostie’s Towing, and the Department of Agriculture, Conservation and Forestry.
