Searchers Find Body of Missing New Brunswick Man
The RCMP says searchers on Tuesday found the body of a 66-year-old Saint-Ignace man who went missing a week before in eastern New Brunswick.
Onil Richard was last seen at his home on the morning of April 12.
Three people who were using a boat to search the Saint-Ignace River located the body around 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, according to Sgt. Patrick Tardif of the Richibucto RCMP.
The body was found a few metres off the bank of the river, Tardiff said.
An autopsy will be conducted to determine the exact cause of death.
Police say they do not suspect foul play at this time.
