Police in Clair, New Brunswick are asking for the public's helping with an investigation in to a series of break and enters that happened earlier this month in the Madawaska County town of Baker Lake.

Clair RCMP say the theft is believed to have occurred between September 7th and September 21st, 2014. During one incident, the suspect(s) broke into two cottages and stole a few low-value items.

Police are also investigating two other incidents of break and enters into two private residential garages. No items were stolen from the garages.

The investigations into these incidents are continuing. Police are reminding the public that, in the event of a break and enter, please call 9-1-1 right away and remember to not touch or disturb anything before police arrive to do their work.
