Police Seek Suspects in Home Invasion in Northeast N.B.
The RCMP is investigating a home invasion that occurred in the early hours Sunday just west of Bathurst.
Three or four masked men forced their way into a residence in Rio Grande, New Brunswick and assaulted and tied up the 69-year-old homeowner, according to Cpl. Daniel Dorais of the Bathurst Detachment. The intruders left with an undisclosed amount of money. Police say the victim suffered minor injuries.
The RCMP's Northeast District Crime Reduction Unit is assisting with the investigation.
Police are asking anyone who may have information about this crime to call the Northeast District RCMP at 506-548-7771.
