Police on Monday say the father of two missing Presque Isle boys is refusing to cooperate with investigators. Police released a photo of the man and a description of the vehicle in which the boys are believed to be traveling.

Police said the boy's father, Joel Strother, has spoken with investigators, but is not cooperating. Last week, a felony arrest warrant was issued for Joel Strother, which police say he is aware of.

According to WMTW, police believe the two missing boys -- 12-year-old Joel Strother II and 10-year-old Carter Strother III --  are believed to be out of state and traveling in a metallic-colored GMC Terrain with temporary license plates. Police say they think his plan is to take the boys to Florida.

Police say the boys may be traveling with their aunt, Kimberly McLeod, a.k.a. Kimberly Strother, and her husband, Christopher McLeod. They believe Joel Strother is in a different location.

The boys' mother lives in Presque Isle.

Anyone with information about the whereabouts of the children is asked to call the Presque Isle Police Department at (207)764-4476.
