A police lieutenant and two other people were seriously injured Monday evening after a head-on crash in Turner.
Three People Seriously Injured in Head-On Crash
The two-vehicle collision happened on Turner Center Road around 5 pm, said the Sun Journal.
Police Lieutenant Airlifted with Serious Injuries
The Lieutenant with the Monmouth Police Department was seriously injured and flown by LifeFlight to Maine Medical Center in Portland. He was in critical condition Monday night.
Two More People Taken to Hospital with Injuries
Two other people involved in the crash were transported to Central Maine Medical Center with injuries. Names and ages were not released.
